Is it a polar bear? Is it a bunny rabbit? Is it a hopping dolf???? She does this all the time and I have been trying to get it on film... This isn't even as high as she normally jumps, if she only knew she could go over the fence

This is a happy monkey!!! We gave him a "big boy pillow" tonite before he went to bed.. He hasn't moved in over an hour.... Straight to sleep, arms behind his head!!! So far he hasn't had a problem with the big boy bed... This morning he didn't get up til I came and got him after he yelled for me and at nap time he woke up and calmly hot out of bed and started playing in his room... So we shall see

The Transition Starts...

We will be getting Austin's room changed over in the next couple of weeks, so we decided to start working on him with his "big boy bed"..tonite the crib front came off...for those of you that are easily rattled, prepare yourself, it's pretty graphic !!!

Coolest Bath Ever

I buy those tubes of light sticks at Micheal's for $1.00, you get about a dozen in them..sometimes I get them home and one or two don't work, but I don't care that much..for $1.00, I'll take a hit..lol...well tonite before family movie night i decided to surprise the kids..filled the tub up and threw in 4 of them, let them come in and shut the lights off...they LOVED IT !!! lol..

This was like the 25th lap.. He had started to slow down!!!

Our new nephew/cousin... Uncle Shannon and Aunt Kellie welcomed their son into our family this morning at 2:15 am...

I am working on learning how to use the "simple" Windows video program....I am sure once I figure it out, it will be simple..oh well..here are the ones from the bday party...this is Austin blowing out the candles..I hope I did it right...

Now the reason you see him watching me at the beginning and my arm, is bcuz as soon as he I lit them and he sat down he blew them out !!!

Dozer Demolition

As you know this past weekend we had little man's bday party...We decided to go with Dozer Demolition as a theme..I didn't want to just do a "store bought theme", so Keira and I took Austin to a store and kinda pointed out different themes and he chose contruction and that was the end of it...We all know that he's kinda a bulldozer so that's how we came up with Dozer Demolition...The kids had a blast !!!! We decorated the house and had little hard hats for the kiddos..We did keep it small this year, only inviting family..Shane and I were concerned about the weather and we were afraid if it was nasty then we wouldn't all fit in the house..it was BEAUTIFUL !!! The kids got to play out side before cake and while the adults ate (bcuz there wasn't much time to eat for them..tooooo busy !!! ha ha ha)

I have broken the slide shows up into three different ones to make it easier to upload.,.

This is the one with decorations and the food...We set up a little station for the girls to "bling" out their hats, the food all had signs that went along with the theme and yes, even our giant Monkey got into it...



We had cupcakes made from Kroger, not what I ultimately wanted to do, but I picked my projects...Shane had to fight with them when he picked them up..they were supposed to be the really good whipped icing and when he picked them up they were pumpkin and some kinda pukey yellow instead of "construction" orange and yellow..so he fought, they sprayed some crap across them, they looked worse, he made them re-do it..YAY and they were a great success...I had a little cake made for him and of course stuck it in a dump truck...I made little cupcake wrappers to cover up the ugly baking wrappers and of course little cupcake toppers..I still need to upload the video, but it was soooo much fun watching him blow out his candles..he did it early..he got so excited that he blew it out before we started singing !! HA HA HA .....it was great !! Then we let the kids burn off some energy and play before we did the presents...



Now onto the LOOT !!! We had so many great presents, thank you everyone for spoiling my kids (and yes I do mean kids, since some of you remembered Keira as well..it's nice for her to feel a little special even if it's her brother's bday)..He LOVED everything he got..After that we let the kids do what kids are supposed to do...whack the crap outta paper wrapped object (no silly, politically correct string pulling pinata in this family !!!)..it was hilarious !!! We made the kids put the hard hats on before they could hit and boy were they serious about it !!! It was sooooo much fun..Austin wasn't that into it, but the rest of them were..Reagan (our friend Beki's oldest) was aiming for a draft pick to the Astros..Keira refused to let go of her hat..oh man..it was one of the best parties we have had..not that we throw bad parties in this family, but this one just seemed to be soo much fun..I think having it later in the day helped alot..Austin had a good nap..in fact, he woke up and called for me and then refused to get out of bed til Tammy went and got him..little stinker !!! The adults all had fun and it was one of the best days ever !! Thank you every one that showed up and spent the day with us celebrating our little DOZER !!!
