Outside Fun At The Party

After presents and cake we sent the kids outside to tear up yard..we even turned on..the redneck waterslide..oh yes we did and it was a HUGE hit..I was a little concerned with older kids being bored, nope..they all had fun..

He's GONNA MAKE IT UP...watch

All the way up

PeePaw has something very important to say

Mimi is gonna surf down the slide

You are treading into dangerous territory there PeePaw..Monkey has the hose..lol

PeePaw gonna help a kid down..Yay..meanwhile little Kiara falls right on her bum and outta the pool...

Such a ladies man ! Taking after his Daddy going after an older woman

Twins?? ha ha ha

This looks like a siege to me..Austin climbs up and the girls use the "water cannon" to get him down..ha ha ha

How many kids can you  fit on a redneck waterslide??

OH MAN !!! CUPCAKE

Oh that's some good stuff

Chris trying to "help" Austin give me a hug

Yup, that's some good stuff

I mean is there any other word than...WWWWWHHHHHEEEEEEEEE

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEIRA !!!!!

Well if FINALLY happened !! Keira turned 5..OUCH..we had a huge party for her at the house..She wanted Disney's Tangled and what started out as my changing the decorating ideas I got just little turned into a full blown movie set..lol..we used the living room at the city where she dances with Flynn, the kitchen was The Snuggly Duckling and outside was her tower in her clubhouse..we had a house FULL of friends and family and lots of kids running around..so much different than the last couple ones where it was just Abby, Reagan and Keira..

Keira working on the stars she HAD to have all over the house

12 Lanterns hanging from the ceiling with flickering lights

I bought little lights the flicker like candles, but since you couldn't see them through the lanterns we hung them upside down so you could get the idea

It's a party

The birthday princess in her crown and braid..I made braids for each of the girls and attached them to crowns..of course Keira's had to be gold

Abby's braid..I added the flowers and since I CAN'T stop I then glittered all the flowers and petals on the braids

Abby and her crown..each crown had different gems hot glued on them so they were all different

We had these tacked up all over the house

I painted the sign and hung it up as you enter the kitchen

We had a couple set backs with the cake so this is version #3..The Tangled tower surrounded by cupcakes

Keira had her own little cake with a sparkler that was the #5
Shane thought we would "roast" Rapunzel with the sparkler so he had this handy

Happy boy wanted to sit on Momma's lap while watching his sister open presents

Sometimes this is the only way to control a Monkey

YAY !!  A Tangled towel

I really don't know what she is looking at with her head resting on the fireplace

Austin is gonna help with this one..it's got shovels and rakes and buckets and all kinds of things

My mom started this quilt when we moved down to Texas and I had just turned 5 so she did some more work on it and gave it to Keira..She hopes to finish it soon..ha ha ha

Grampa got her a sand box

It's kinda hard to see her face, but she's MAD there is no sand in the sand box..lol

All the kids headed outside for lots of fun..you can see Keira's braid and the one I hung off the "tower"

Daddy's Day

We surprised Shane with a trip on Daddy's day..He has seen The Salt Lick Barbecue place on tv a dozen times and has been dying to go there..so we loaded the kids up and headed to Austin for the day..hee hee hee..he had no clue..It was lots of fun..stopped at the Texas History Museum and since it was refugee day we got in free (yes FREE, I even coupon on trips), but someone did go out an unauthorized exit door and the fire alarm went off and we had to EVACUATE the museum, did you know how tall a true three story building is?? LOL..did you know that during a fire exvacuation you CANNOT take the elevator with your stroller??? Luckily there was a very nice couple that offered to help Shane carry one side of Austin's stroller down the stairs..I could have done it, but damn that was ALOT of stairs..lol..
Shane and kids on front of star

Then we kinda just drove around the city and let the kids rest and take a nap before dinner..it was really cool..saw parts of Austin I have never seen before..up and down the hills in the "BIG" house areas...Then we headed off to dinner..The Salt Lick is world famous and you would not believe the size of it..TINY..lol..they have added another building and a winery, but the main restaurant looks alot bigger on tv..still it was lots of fun..it's in the middle of nowhere and they have cops directing traffic on Saturday nights bcuz it gets so busy...the food was okay..Shane LOVED the ribs and would kill to cook them like that, mine..ehh..I think that the Chappell Hill sausage is better and Shane's brisket is definetly better..but he loved it and that's all that matters.. (the pics were taken with my phone bcuz i didn't feel like dragging the big camera in with everything else)

Austin LOVED the food..he actually ate more sausage than Keira..I was really surprised too..the sausage had a little kick to it and he didn't care..loved it

Sausage, brisket, cole slaw with a very light vinegar dressing instead of mayo, beans and a mashed potato salad with ?
It was gooooooodd

The pit right by the front door

The cook let Shane and Keira go back by the pit and look at it

On the way home we saw a sign for Buda and I jokingly said let's visit your company store there..he said if he was gonna head to Buda it would be to go to Cabellas..well guess were we ended up..lol..Ended up closing down the store and heading home at 9:00..it was lots of fun
They had this amazing 360 degree landscape full of stuffed animals..this was their stuffed Dolf

The "shoot" game..she normally loves to play these but this time she just wanted to tell us what to shoot

Daddy, shoot the bird..Daddy shoot the guy in the head..ahhhhhh family bonding

We HAD to sit with the bear and have a pick taken

And of course we had to climb on the rocks so take a pic with the moose
