Poor Sick Little Monkey ;(

Took Austin back to the doc today...It's official..he's sick again...Sinus infection..the good news, the ears look great..what we think happened was he got another ear infection right before the surgery and while the tubes will drain the ear, it won't get rid of the infection..so hopefully this will be his last course of antibiotics for a while..he's miserable, not sleeping, wheezing and really grumpy..she put him on antibiotics (9th course since September), an ibuterol (sp??) inhaler 3 times a day for 10 days so we can get his lungs cleared up AND Singular for allergies...she wants to make sure he doesn't have allergy problems that were compounded by the ear infections...if he gets better she wants to keep him on the allergy meds for a couple of months to make he stays clear..Now, I asked if this was a forever thing or would he outgrow it..she said with him being so young, he would probably outgrow it, but there is no guarantee...Here's the part Shane will love..I asked her why is he getting this so bad, is it genetic..YUP !!!! If members of the family are prone to sinus infections then it's more than likely genetic...Shane's gonna blame this on my "weak yankee genes" again..HUGE LOL !!! She did say we should see a huge improvement by Friday or Saturday..I will keep you posted...I hope so..the poor little guy is just miserable and I am kinda tired of him being sick..he's just miserable and short tempered and that makes mommy miserable and short tempered which makes Daddy's life hard...lol

EASTER !!!

We had a fun filled day today..It started with the Easter bunny leaving the kids WAY too much stuff and then we had some visitors for breakfast..Then off to Bryan to spend some time with Tammy and family...they kids are VERY exhausted and had a good day !! I wanted to thank all of the family members that spent time with the kids today and spoiled them rottten !! It's not about the presents, but the fact that everyone thought about them and took time to do some shopping and find something that they would both love..We are truly blessed...Happy Easter

The neighbors brought over their baby goats for the girls to feed..Keira loved it....

You never how dirty your carpet is until you rip it up..lol..we all know that I pretty rigid about cleaning..especially with Austin sick all the time and us not knowing what it is..that means vacuum every day if not every other day...well Shane ripped up the carpets and he couldn't believe the dust and dirt under it...We will never have carpet again..eeeewwwww....I have lots of pics, but here are just a few...Tammy and Terry came out to help, wait, wait,  I think we actually helped them (ha ha ha, okay okay..Shane helped, I wrangled the little ones)..They worked their butts off and managed to lay all 560 sq ft. in about 12 hours..not bad considering the hallway was a major pain with all the cuts and angles..We LOVE IT !!! We are having a hard time putting stuff back in the house bcuz it looks so clean and big..lol.
