Poor Little Monkey

Monkey is still sick.. Up at 4 am with a mild fever and the chills, back up at 5:30 with 103.8.. Ibuprofen, cold water to drink and a change of jammies brought us to 102.6.. Up at 8 am dripping wet from sweat, but we were fever free again... Stayed up til 9:30, slept for 4 hours, up for about 2 hrs, down for another 3 hrs, up for 2 hrs and back down again... Hardly eaten a thing.. I am hoping THIS is the "it's gets worse before it gets better" part!!! He slept for over 7 hours today napping and he hasn't hardly eaten anything..I am hoping this is his body's way of fighting whatever is going on since the antibiotics aren't working !!! Poor little baby..he did get up from his first nap, climb in Daddy's lap and munch some tortilla chips with him..it was really cute..he didn't want to get up eat, just sit there and be held and munch on some chips..and then after the second nap and an attempt at dinner he did run around a little with a smile on his face, but....he did keep going to Keira's door and banging on it..She was in trouble and was sent to her room..so she started crying and Austin DID NOT like her being in there crying..he would go to door, bang on it, then run to get me and say "Up..Keira..Outside" and point towards the door...which is kinda sweet...here's keeping our fingers crossed he won't "spike" another again...
