Austin's Big Boy Bed

Yup, we did it...his bed came in and we moved him...he LOVED IT !!! Told me "daddy did it" "look, Momma, look Daddy did"....we still need to get his bed rail..the one we got we didn't like so I am taking it back and I ordered one..we are gonna need to move around his shelves and such and re-arrange his room a little bit, but he LOVES it...I am getting him a new blanket/comforter tomorrow..I wanted to leave his on there tonite in case there was a problem with the transition...oh the hat?? Yea little Frankie (Sintra that is) got that at Walmart and LOVES it....

Warrior Dash

We all know about the Warrior Dash I did last weekend !!! It was soo much fun...I ran 5k in the mud with many obstacles...The A-Frame kicked my arse....That's the one where you use the rope to walk a vertical wall...made it all the way to the top and couldn't get myself to swing over...fell down, grabbed a hold of the rope with one hand and the top with the other, nope...slid halfway down..stopped myself, pulled myself back up, walked back up and same thing...except this time I slid all the way down..I would guess about 30' on plywood....OUCH !!! (that's the pic of my knee)...some of the pics are not of me bcuz I bought a disposable, waterproof camera to take on the race with us...it's of Lisa and Tara, my running partners....And YES, we ARE doing it again !!! Can you believe it ?? I do feel sorry for Lisa..she went to the beach the day before and sunburned her legs sooo bad she could hardly walk..and she did it !!! Hey, the things we will do for a free beer !! Yes, that's right..one free beer

Missing Daddy

Since I am NOT allowed to post this on Facebook, I thought I would share here... ALL of my kids are creatures of habits!!! Shane left for his yearly golf trip with PaPa today and it had upset all THREE kids... Lol

Austin- tossed and turned and just couldn't settle down... Somewhat normal, but worse tonite

Keira- she hasn't had a problem going to bed in months... She will try to stall (who doesn't?),but once she's in, she's good... Not tonite... Her light wasn't right, then her blankets needed fixing.. Keira, how did they get in a ball? I was rolling around. Why? Bcuz I didnt know they would do that. Uhn?! Then potty breaks and one more hug...

Tikanni- the WORST!!! She walked around and paced and whined, then she would stick her head through the curtains at the front door and whine, then walk around the house and nudge the kids doors after they went to bed.. Finally put her outside.. She loves to b out in the cold sleeping... Except she didn't sleep!!! She laid on the porch, head up and watched the whole time.. Then the neighbors were in the backyard.. They always are. She starts barking, and not the cute, I wanna play with doggy next door park... This was PISSED!! I finally called her in, she walked about 10 steps, stopped looked at me and turned around.. Faces the fence, and starts to growl and bark with the fur standing up on her whole body,
I call her again and she walks inside, hits each kid's door with her nose and lays down at my feet... I guess she's taking her job seriously since Daddy is gone...

It's amazing how they act... They said they miss him of course, but the subconscious things are hilarious!!

Waiting in line to ride the ponies…We were starting to lose Austin..his teeth were hurting and he was hungry

This was the first time she got in trouble..she kept taking her hat off, waving it and yelling yee haw..lol

He smiled a little, but not much…he was fading and needed some food !!!

After lunch we headed to the Agventure to do a day in the in the life on the farm

Feed the chickens to get some eggs…Austin held his egg throughout the whole thing..I really thought I was gonna have to buy the egg for real

Picking some vegetables

The vegetables IN the basket needed lots of water

Head into the sheep barn to feel some real wool and collect some to sell later

Gotta milk the cow

Harvest the peaches from the tree

Use the tractor to harvest the crops..

There, we did get rid of it…really thought it was going to be an issue

Got our dollar to use at the store

Austin got some crackers

Heading on out to snack time

Waiting in line to ride the train…They were doing so good and being so patient, but the guy running it was an idiot..then it was shift change we lost Austin..his tooth finally took him down..he started screaming and crying real tears of pain

So Keira rode alone

At home that night playing with the barrel racer we brought her..she was also playing with Austin’s bull we  bought him..lol

 

It was a blast, the crowd wasn’t too bad and the heat didn’t get there to til we were about to leave..kids were great..Austin spent most of the time out of the stroller and listened to Grandma and didn’t run off and Keira was very good..it was lots of fun

More Bling

 

Keira decided she wanted a Rodeo shirt to wear and this is what we came up…yes, it’s Minnie Mouse again and this time she is wearing a K in the middle of her bow…the more I do this the more I keep adding things…lol

The teacher did tell me that it was a little distracting bcuz as she walked down the hall the kids would “pet” it…lol
