Buttefly Garden

One of the presents that Keira got for her bday was a butterfly garden..it came with the habitat and 5 live caterpillars..you leave them alone and when they form the crysatlish you hang them in the habitat in about a week..ta da, butterflies..she has been LOVING IT !!!! When the first one hatched I got minute by minute updates..lol..right now we have 4 of the 5..rainbow flower, rainbow starstong, rainbow dancer, (see a pattern here) and ?? (I call him bat food..lol..he has a bum wing and if we release him he will be eaten by the bats we have living in the bat house)..she found one of the zoo magazines she got in the mail a couple months of ago that was about butterflies and ran to show the butterflies themselves on the cover...ha ha ha ha...here are some of the things I have heard

• They looked at her
• They like her music
• They can flap their wings to the music
• They really like living in her room
• They love the food we have to mix and feed to them
• They climbed
• They flew....

OMG every time they did ANYTHING I heard about...and now it's "mama, wanna go check the butterflies" "Keira we were just in there" "I know, but they could be doing somethign different"...lol..and she can't wait to release them to live in her yard so that's not gonna be a problem...it's sooooo cool..

We have carnations laying on the floor that we have to put sugar water into twice a day for them to eat

I reached in to feed them and "bat bait" jumped on my hand..i think he is kissing up...lol
