The Zoo

Finally...We went to the zoo about two weeks ago (yes the famous, "Momma what in the hell is that?" day)..here are some pics...it was beautiful weather and we had a really good time..we did miss some things, but as I tell Keira that is why we have a pass and can come back..I was able to get Austin's 1 year pics done (YAY!!) and I am in the process of getting them ordered..I want to re-do most of the pics in the house, so I am picking through some...

They have two new eating areas..one overlooks the giraffe feeding station (and yes you can bring your own lunch..you don't have to eat at the restaurant)

Of course we have to ride the merry go round and since I love shooting in black and white (as much as it irritates Shane) I decided to see what the animals would turn out like...I love this pic..Everyone looks happy..( I know, I need to crop it better)

A Green Mamba was shedding his skin in the reptile house and I thought this was the coolest picture..you can see the eye holes in the shedded skin
